It was a disappointment. Yes - it has good games and can browse the internet and can play media. But it has a small maximum memory (can't put too many songs on it), takes a while to load up the games, and is just painful to use to browse the internet. It tries to do too much. Get an iPod if you want to listen to music (or a Zune or whatever). Some people like it. I wouldn't waste my money on it.

If your not planning not to buy much games or movies for PSP, don't buy it. I bought it and I had like 1 game and played it only twice and then left it in my drawer all rusty. So I sold it, it was a liability. I bought it for $400 and sold it for $120. Also I recommend you buy a 1 gig memory stick. You can only fit like 3 songs with the normal memory card. My Review: Buy lots of games and a large gig memory stick.

The good: The Sony PSP is a slick portable gaming system highlighted by an impressive wide-screen display and PS2-like graphics. It also boasts built-in Wi-Fi, a Web browser, and the ability to play music and videos, as well as to store images. The bad: The Sony PSP's multimedia functionality is underwhelming, especially for video, requiring expensive memory cards. The load times on the UMD games can be excessive. The bottom line: The Sony PSP elevates portable gaming to the next level, but its multimedia functionality falls short of its full potential.

I love it. I got mine at christmas, and I love it. I have a dragon skin, gears of war wallpaper, about 50 songs, and about 20 video clips of family guy. I do agree with the post by The Answerer about you needing a big memory card. I have a 2GB magicgate memory card by sony. I bought it brand new on ebay for only like $40. But with that memory card you can fit a lot of thigns on it. After all the stuff I have on it plus I have 9 save game files, I still have about 1250MB left. When I got it, it had a little over 2000MB so it has a lot of memory. But overall i'd say get it, because now you can get a used one at ebgames for around $180.

very good. buy a huge memory card. I got a 4gig on ebay for $20.50 racing games have better grafics than wii!

Compared to the DS its awesome. DS PSP Mario Wipe out pure No movies Movies No music Music Small screens Huge screen No Pictures Pictures No internet Wifi internet Graphics are horrible Graphics look amazing What's not to love?
