  • May God be with you and grant you a safe non c-section delivery Lady Alathia - still babyless. Take care...
  • God bless you and your baby boy!! (I'm sure it's a boy, but I was absolutely positive our daughter was a boy, too, so take that with a grain of salt.)
  • My best thoughts go with you and hopes that you don't have to undergo a c-section :)
  • Yes I will Lady Alathia!! You're about to have one of the most happiest days in your life!! After the delivery, of course!
  • All of my thoughts and prayers and best wishes are with you!! Now go have that beautiful baby and come back and tell us all about it and post lots of pictures!!
  • Sure, I'll be praying for you. 12 days is a LONG overdue time. I wish you well, and definitely with you in the hoping for no c-section! Be sure to tell us how it goes when you're out!
  • I wish you all my best, that the delivery will be totally trouble-free, and that your baby will be in the best of health! I know how you feel, because I'm not comfortable with a lot of conventional medicine either.
  • Oh, my dear Lady, don't be afraid. My thoughts and best wishes are with you.
  • Sending lots of positive thoughts your way and a wish for no c-section. I dislike hospitals and doctors as well, I ended up having a c-section and actually it turned out great and I had less problems than those around me so try not to be too afraid.
  • I was born at 41 weeks, narurally, and my lilttle sister was born the same, naturally =) Congrats!!!
  • Praying for you now. :=)
  • Congratulations! We are expecting our 1st in just a couple weeks... Prayers being sent your way and best of luck for a safe delivery & healthy baby.
  • Awwww... Momma! I will pray for you! The spirit with the power of the peace, that passes all human understanding be with you and your new baby during after and before... birth. In the name of, and with the glory of God in His Mercy and grace. Amen. Remember to breathe... Don't allow your fears to hold up your breath and you'll be fine. NO C-SECTION!
  • Best of luck Lady, you'll do just great with the inducement, it will make things easier for you. Prayers for you and the baby soon to be here. Praying for you not to be afraid, best of all the luck in the world to you and your baby:)
  • Don't you be scared....you and your baby will be fine..:)
  • Absolutely my dear. It will be okay. Try not to be too terrified. Modern medicine has gotten pretty good at bringing mothers and babies through just fine.
  • I"m sending you every good thought I can, I'm sure you and the baby will finally meet face to face just the way you wanted, fully worth they wait. Best wishes!!!!!
  • I wish you the best Lady Alathia. Since you posted this question 3 hours ago I am guessing you are in excruciating pain right about now, but by the time you read this it will all be over and you will have a true blessing. Babies are just way cool. Mine being born are 3 of the greatest days in my live. I'll say a prayer for you and your new lovely baby. God bless you both.
  • congadulations andeverything will be fine. you and you baby will be up and running in no time and remmber have fun with your child.
  • My prayers are with you sweetie, just think in a very short time you are going to hold a beautiful sweet bundle of joy in your arms, and you are going to think pain? it wasn't so bad after all. as it will fade in your memories. Hospitals and DR's are just necessary things in life, and you just roll with and you will be OK. But promise to let US know when the bundle of joy is home and how things are OK
  • I am definitely praying for you and also hope and pray that you have a speedy recovery and bounce back quickly!!
  • The full moon is tonight... the pull on the fluid sac should happen soon.
  • I'm sorry it didn't happen the way you wanted or planned it to be. Hopefully, it's all for the better. For what its worth, my sister had a c-section on her first baby, worked herself back in to good shape and had her second child (almost 10 lbs) naturally.
  • Everything is certainly going to be all right. Don't worry. For my first delivery my contractions were not strong enough so the doctors gave me an IV to induce contractions and I'm sure they will do something similar for you. Inducing delivery does not necessarily mean a c section. Soon you will have a bonny baby in your arms and all your apprehensions will be things of the past. Good Luck and God Bless.
  • Good luck, and God Bless you. They kept mentioning a c-section when i was in labor w/ my daughter. My doc told me i could do 30 mins of practice pushing and if nothing happened (she wasnt moving down) then they would have to do a c -section. Needless to say, I pushed her out in less than 20 mins! Gotta have faith! And motivation.
  • Congratulations on the birth. I hope it went well.
  • congratulations on your baby. I must tell you though that c-sections are not all that bad. i had to schedule one because i have pelvic disproportion something or other i can't remember what its called. anyways i was scared to death but the worst part of it was the darn cathader but after the meds kicked in i couldn't feel a thing, while the baby was being delivered it felt like my legs were being massaged because of the air pillows my legs were on. the 3 weeks of recovery were somewhat difficult but it's not as bad as it's made out to be. if it does turn out you need a c -section though don't worry because everything will be just fine. GOOD LUCK
  • Medicine is there to help you cope and doctors have gone to school for YEARS and YEARS for this LoL And when you see your little miracle that you carried for 9 mos. & then some, you'll realize how worth it the whole "terrifying" experience was :oD Congratulations!
  • I was overdue by 2 weeks & was induced. It's a bit much in that you go along pretty fast, but it's nothing that you can't handle. Women were made expressly to give birth, your body is totally prepared, now you need to get your mind on the same track. You can do this. And if it should turn out that you have a c-section, that's ok too. Today' medicine is amazing. They make a line called a "bikini" line so you can wear a bathing suit later on. The numbing process leaves you awake yet calm & they will bring the baby to you right after they get 'em out. Your husband can be in there with you as long as it's not an emergency C & as long as he keeps sitting down he'll be ok. One really nice perk to a C is the baby's head is perfectly formed. You recover a lot quicker now than in the old days. Which ever way it may go here is the end result: once you see, and hold, and touch ,and yes, smell the baby (they smell wonderful)you've been thinking about for the last 9 1/2 months all of your fears are gone, just like that, It's totally worth whatever way is required to get that baby born. You be strong for yourself and for that baby.I'l keep you in my prayers.
  • reguardless, it will be the most amazing experience of your life,
  • i went 14 days over due with my first baby 10mnts ago trust me being induced is not nice but not is bad as people say on a positive note it can speed labour up i got firstly induced with the swipe that was not bad atal then again the bigger the hand the worse but my docs knickname was shuvl hand so that y the second time was not great but still not bad atal then i got my waterbroke thats nothing you wont even notice and then a drip sometime it takes a few times like me but other can go into labour straight away trust me i was the same and youve nothing to worry about labour itself is the onlt thing theres nothing to worry about
