  • In my Bible, NIV Women of Faith Study Guide, both verses say that David had to choose from either three years of famine, three months of running from your enemies, or three days of plague to his land.   • Seven years OR three months OR three days.... Three years OR three months...OR three days... It is the context here which is important...not the specified time... The discrepancy makes no difference to the bible message. And also consider that 2 Samuel was written by Gad and Nathan in 1040 B.C.E. and Chronicles was written by Ezra in 460 B.C.E. A time difference of nearly six hundred years. And the meaning has not changed.
