It sounds as if your cat has a problem with hairballs. We use "Hairball Remedy" by Hartz and give it to our cat as directed. Since we've been doing that it has cut down a lot on her "hairball attacks". Good luck! :)

If not hairballs, take him to a vet. He could have an upper respiratory infection or asthma. I have a cat who experiences this a couple of times a year.

It could me that your cat is being over-fed. Or it may have a hairball. Or it might be having an allergic reaction to the food you are feeding it. Check into Science Diet. Clean out the food dish and water bowl regularly. Bacteria builds up in these areas.

I found out what was wrong w/my cat. I tried this organic litter, really expensive and he was totally upset and alergic to the stuff, back to Fresh Step or tidy cat. He usually goes outside anyway. Thanks for all the suggestions folks.
