My mother had her heart stopped (by some method) and restarted with a shock machine to treat her atrial fibulation (and it was successful!) It was very scary, but remarkably uneventful.

Yes, my brother. he had quadruple bypass and is misssing an artery to his heart, they had to make an extra one with all the vains they take from his legs. Anyway, they did that procedure on him and he was fine. That was 13 years ago. We still have him, thank god!
