  • That's so true(for me atleast). I always say "nothing, not much, or nada." Although, I don't even think about saying it, it's just become a habit now because everyone says it. =
  • Personally, I prefer the answer: The top of your head. But seriously, it's the same reason people say um when they are talking. It just becomes habit. Another one you might like listening for is how many times a person says "like" when they are telling a story.
  • the same reason you say "good" or "fine" when someone asks "how ya doin" besides, i doubt the person saying "sup" intends to elicit a long drawn out response from you if all you got was a "hey" or a "sup"
  • Agreed its a polite response when the person doesn't really want the "real" answer, but next time someone asks you "what's up" you could say, "A two letter word indicating direction". But I may just be a nerd here. :)
