How can I postpone or get a continuance for a child custody hearing scheduled for Sept, 4? I need to prolong this hearing for personal matters, I do not have a legitimate excuse. Any suggestions?

If you have a lawyer he/she can get a letter to the judge to reset the hearing for another date.
