That is a big, huge, red flag. It depends upon how close he is to his family. If he sees them/talks on the phone to them daily that seems excessive to me. So depending upon how much I like the guy and where the budding relationship is going, if I really don't like his family and he is really involved with them 24/7, I'd back away fast. Trouble lies ahead and I like to avoid trouble! :)

I would put on a happy face. You get to go home with him/her without mom.

speaking from bitter experience - take a LONG think before taking on a relationship with him/her which will be hard to get out of....

Bite my tongue and maybe not visit as much, he can visit by himself.
