  • I can't recall exactly, but I seldom order steak when dinning out, I generally order seafood ((e.g. lobster). I suppose that it might be in the range of $40 or $50, a decade or more ago. I suppose that it was worth it, since I have seldom had a "bad" steak. I still order steak on occasion, but try never to pay over $25 to $30.
  • I pay about €15 (euros) for fillet steak in restaurants and it is always worth it. I hardly ever had fillet steak when I lived in England - far too expensive.
