  • One thing the networks do to incur minimal damage to a show is to show a few shows from the previous season. That rebuilds tha appetite for the show again, and then they will air the new ones at the normally scheduled season. Last night they played the pilot to the series The Sarah Connor Chronicals. Now I want to see the new ones!
  • Could answer this one a few ways, I guess. (1) That writer's strike hit a lot of television shows. I think most existing fans will just be happy to see "their shows" back - knowing full well why it/they were delayed on our schedules. (2) While the lapse might hurt in terms of "casual viewers" vs fans? I suspect that any negative impact would be on borderline shows. (ie already in potential trouble and a time lapse would be like the final straw). (3) Think Heroes would be an exception in any case. It's hugely popular. It was riding high when the strike hit. Nope - I see everyone grateful it's back - excited it's back - and just as big a fan as before. Now - how about asking the networks to run a MARATHON of past Heroes shows THEN launching the new eps? LOL
  • I really loved the first season of Heroes but couldn't get into the second for some reason.
