15 years ago a friend saved my life. So he is my savior. But it does not mean he is God. The word SAVIOR has diffirent meanings in Bible.

You go through Jesus to the Father. Jesus of the new testament is God of the old testament. Jesus said He knew Abraham. If you have seen the Son, you have seen the Father.

Jehovah set up the system that solved the problem caused by the disobedience of Adam and Eve. Adam was created a perfect man and caused us to suffer death by his actions. Genesis 2; 16.17 Jehovah sent Jesus, his only son, to pay the ransom sacrifice and buy back [with his blood] the right for us to live without death. This will occur after Armageddon and matches the scripture Revelation 21;4.

there are actually several pre-incarnate appearances of Jesus in the Old Testament. We know this because Jesus tells us in the New Testament (John 8:56) "Your Father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.' then in verse 58 it says "'Itell you the truth', Jesus answered, 'before Abraham wsa born, I am!'". Some believe that encounter Abraham had with Melchezidek in Genesis 16 that Melch. was actually Jesus, or that the Angel of the Lord which appears repeatedly throughout the Old Testament is actually Jesus. This is not exactly clear, we just know that Jesus made the claim, so therefore it is true. In Isaiah 43:11 it is the Lord speaking to Isaiah and this would fit the precedent set in John 8:58, as well as that in John 1:1 where John tells us that Jesus was the word that spoke the creation into being.

Numerous times, the Scriptures refer to God as Savior. At Isaiah 43:11 God even says: “Besides me there is no savior.” Since Jesus is also referred to as Savior, are God and Jesus the same? Not at all. Titus 1:3, 4 speaks of “God our Savior,” and then of both “God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.” So, both persons are saviors. Jude 25 shows the relationship, saying: “God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (See also Acts 13:23.) At Judges 3:9, the same Hebrew word (moh•shi´a‛, rendered “savior” or “deliverer”) that is used at Isaiah 43:11 is applied to Othniel, a judge in Israel, but that certainly did not make Othniel Jehovah, did it? A reading of Isaiah 43:1-12 shows that verse 11 means that Jehovah alone was the One who provided salvation, or deliverance, for Israel; that salvation did not come from any of the gods of the surrounding nations”. Here is some information about the Current Teaching Of The Watchtower Society: In His Pre-existence, Jesus Christ was the angelic being described in the Bible as Michael the Archangel. He has only the power and nature of a created angelic being. The Society has drawn this conclusion and teaches this as a doctrine as a result of their understanding of certain Scripture references (Col 1:15-17 and Jhn 1:1. Also see Rev 3:14). What the Bible Says about The DEITY OF JESUS: In order to understand the Society's position on this issue and in order to be able to see the way in which they have deviated from and even deliberately changed the plain teaching of the Scriptures, we examine their translation of two key passages (as found in the 1984 edition of the Society's New World Translation): He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; because by means of him all [other] things were created in heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him. Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other] things were made to exist.Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:NWT all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. The Society Alters Bible Words & Their Meanings To Conform To Their Particular Views About The Deity Of Jesus Christ: a. Words That Are Misunderstood... The Meaning Of: "Beginning" The Society understands the word to mean "that which comes at the start of something," but the Bible also uses this word to mean "the origin, source, and first cause, or, that which stands in the prime position." Because Jehovah God and his SON, Jesus, are in total agreement with everything.. When Jehovah says He is the saviour, it means He is the one supplying the answer to our problems. To do this, he has 'used' Jesus, by lovingly "supplying" Jesus to us, as a ransom sacrifice. Jesus, in agreement, has offered himself for this. And suffered a horrible death. Even Jesus depended on his Father, Jehovah God, to resurrect him from his grave. And even jesus complied with the condition of the dead..found at ecclesiastes 9; 5,6. As a man, dead, he was helpless without his Father's intervention. This is also why confusion reigns when the claim is made that Jesus is God himself, in another form or guise. For Jesus to be God, he would have to be aware at all times what was happening. If so, it would negate the scripture at ecclesiastes. Also it would mean that, as God, Jesus in the grave would be conscious. Simply put, Jesus cannot be God. however, he IS "a" god, a spiritual being prior to coming to earth [ Proverbs 8; 22-31] Just like Satan is "a" god. 2 Corinthians 4;4.

Matt says, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." And in John 14:7-11 "If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. The fullness of God was in Jesus, not the other way around, Jesus was not the fullness of God. Yes the Bible does say Jesus is our Savior, in the Old Testament his name kept changing, from I AM to JEHOVAH, JEHOVAH SHALOM, and now as JESUS our Savior. Deteuronomy states "Hear, O Isael: The Lord our God is one LORD." Even Jesus proclaimed it himself, Mark 12:29-30 "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is

And if you look in the Quran, it says the same. The Koran has a similar claim and each and every other single 'holy' book in the world makes similar claim. So, careful which religion you choose, cause if you end up picking the wrong one, you may get the other gods really pissed at you

Jesus is a fully accredited representative FROM Jehovah God. So what God wants, Jesus agrees with and acts on. (John 7:29) I know him, because I am a representative from him, and that One sent me forth.” Jesus IS saving us, but he is not the instigator... Jehovah is...so when Jewhovah says He is the only one, He means ONLY instigator... Does Jehovah give Jesus any credit? (Matthew 3:17) Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.” (Matthew 17:5) While he was yet speaking, look! a bright cloud overshadowed them, and, look! a voice out of the cloud, saying: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved; listen to him.” (Mark 9:7) And a cloud formed, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud: “This is my Son, the beloved; listen to him.” Jesus is our saviour if we listen to him...but Jehovah is the initial planner.

Jesus had not died yet when Isaiah was written. Heb 9:22 I was trying to post the following in response to ananamiss question as to rather Jesus is a true god or false god, but am having trouble. Could someone try copying and pasting the following into that box? Never mind, I put it in two parts. Jesus is not a false god. He could even be called a Mighty God (Is 9:6). but I believe that Jesus made a distinction between himself and the one who he called the only true God (John 17:3). The apostle Paul put it into perspective for us. At 1 Cor 8;4,5,6 - 4 "Now concerning the eating of foods offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no God but one. 5 For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," 6 there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him" Were the judges, who were called gods, as Jesus pointed out in his defense (John 10:34, Psalms 8:2,6) and Moses (Ex 4:16; 7:1) true or false gods? What is your understanding of John 17:3 and 1 Cor 8:4-6?

Because the Jews always wrote about the agents of god as being god but not to denote that the agent in any way was equal to him. I cannot remember the technical name for this but you should study up on it, ask a Jew and/or Rabbi about it (get on Pal Talk and enter one of their rooms even) to get the full details. There are many places in the bible where the messengers of God would speak and it'll write it as if God himself said something. They do the same thing with him being on location when it was actually an angel. This same thing is used to deal with the Savior. GOD only is the Savior, however the Messiah being GIVEN the ability to represent GOD in the Savior function is also mentioned as "Savior". It's a delegation thing pretty much. I hoped this helped a little (I'm rusty as it has been years since I talked about/studied this stuff). Unfortunately Christianity disregards this HEBRAIC principle throughout the Tanach and read into it the idea that the Messiah was to be equal to GOD which actually would destroy the whole concept of why the Messiah was to come forth, what his role was to be, and how it all related between man and GOD.

Jehovah is taking the credit, which he is due... Jehovah instigated the system to save us, using Jesus his only son, to do so. Jesus is a REPRESENTATIVE from Jehovah, and has ALL authority... This is clearly stated in scripture... (John 7:29) I know him, because I am a representative from him, and that One sent me forth.” Jehovah sent Jesus forth... (John 16:27) For the Father himself has affection for YOU, because YOU have had affection for me and have believed that I came out as the Father’s representative. (John 17:8) because the sayings that you gave me I have given to them, and they have received them and have certainly come to know that I came out as your representative, and they have believed that you sent me forth. A representative is NEVER the PRINCIPAL...

Jesus is not God.. he is part of G-O-D, there is the father, son, and holy spirit that comprise G-o-d. Thats why people try to use the stupid egg explaination, or the family..etc.. I didn't get it for 22 years.. but then my father reveiled it to me when I was suptle enough, when I was ready to listen instead of defend, my God is good to teach when I want to learn. All I had to do was ask... The trinity is a word ( i hate that word) used to confirm whether or not you believe in the three in one. In Revelation, when the throne is being described..there is not a seperate seat for Christ at the right hand.. just the 4 beasts..and the 24 elders worshipping... HMMMMMM....

Jehovah of the Old Testament is the same person as Jesus Christ in the New Testament. What is said of him is equally true by either appellation.

I believe the scriptures show that since Jesus died for us, that God is our savior through our Lord Jesus. http://bible.cc/jude/1-25.htm // http://bible.cc/john/3-16.htm. God is still our savior rather it is through his only begotten son Jesus, or through Othniel or Ehud. Similar wording is used at Judges 3:9,15 as that at Acts 5:30,31, but no one thinks they are God. Even though Isaiah 43:11 says that there is no Savior besides Jehovah, he can still raise up prophets or even his son to save them through. http://bible.cc/isaiah/43-11.htm (Judges 3:9,15; Acts 5:30-31) http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Judges3:9,15;acts5:30-31;&version=YLT;ASV;KJV;NIRV;AMP; . (Hebrews 7:23-25) Furthermore, many had to become priests [in succession] because of being prevented by death from continuing as such, 24 but he because of continuing alive forever has his priesthood without any successors. 25 Consequently he is able also to save completely those who are approaching God through him, because he is always alive to plead for them. (1 John 4:14) In addition, we ourselves have beheld and are bearing witness that the Father has sent forth his Son as Savior of the world. (John 3:16-17) “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent forth his Son into the world, not for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him. (Acts 5:31) God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. (Titus 3:4-6) However, when the kindness and the love for man on the part of our Savior, God, was manifested, 5 owing to no works in righteousness that we had performed, but according to his mercy he saved us through the bath that brought us to life and through the making of us new by holy spirit. 6 This [spirit] he poured out richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior,
