  • The show was expensive to produce, and the ratings did not justify the expenditure. It was also ahead of its time, predicting the overwhelming power big corporations would have on television and the populace in general, as well as the use of computers to track people and find information--sounds like the Internet to me!
  • It was too close to the truth for comfort. Shame as I think it was one of THE best shows ever.

  • Well, it's in good company. Alien Nation only lasted a season. . .and so have MANY of my favorite shows ever. I liked the recent Jeff Goldblum Raynes, but the plot took place too much inside the heads of characters for most people. I'm sure I'll think of others later.
