I HAVE A CLOSE FRIEND WHO IS A CHRONIC ALCOHOLIC AND TELLS ME HE IS DYING , HOW EVER HIS FAMILY ARE NOT AWARE OF THE EXTENT OF HIS DRINK PROBLEM . SHOULD I TELL THEM?

    yes, you must immediately. no matter how painful the consequences, telling them could save your friends life. his family needs/deserves to know incase something happens to him.

    if you keep quiet now, you may live in regeret later.
