Question

Help answer this question below.

My dog had been keeping his left eye closed, if he gets excited he tends to open it, but blink a lot. Its not swollen or red, i washed it and looked in it. I didn't see anything, but the other day i noticed that he's beginning to keep his other eye shut..

they can sometimes get things stuck behind their eyes.
We took our cat to the vet once and it had a growing grass seed stuck under its eye lid, must have felt awful for the poor puss

I'd have to say to take him to the vet as soon as possible. That doesnt seem like its normal, and if osmething is in his eye the vet can probably remove it (which may be vetter since the equipment will be steril).

*Edit* (to the comment): Depends on where you go. Where I'm from? ABout a 100. But it varies from state and the area in the state. Call before you go to get a rough number, or ask for the newer vets they have for a cheaper prive. Goodluck with everything!

he/she may have a cut in it,which the light is making it painful for him/her to open it.You may have to take him/her to a vet to check it out?
