Hardly ever. I go by how my clothes fit. Tight? Eat less. Loose? celebrate!!
-
couple times a year... i look in the mirror much more often but not for purposes of weight gain but mass gain
-
about two or three times a week.
-
Maybe once a week, if that.
-
Never, you'd think i'd like to since I just had a baby and now i'm smaller again! =)
-
everyday
-
Not much since I broke my last scale :0
-
Very rarely. I gauge more by how my clothes fit.
-
i used to do it twice or even 3 times a day depending on how much i ate, my sister took away my scale so i dont know how much i weight now but i think i have gained some weight and it sucks.
-
I'm a chubby boy, hardly ever. I am scared of the scale.
-
everyday!!!! it helps to keep me at the same level...
-
I lack a schedule for weighing. 1-2 times a week is usual. From 1974 to 1983, I did not check my weight at all.
-
once a week.:-)+
-
At least once a day.
-
Only when I go to the doctor. I used to check it several times a day and it was consuming my life. Had to toss the scale.
-
Never. I even get on the scale backward at the doctor's office and tell them not to tell me. I don't need a scale to tell me I'm obese. Weight is just a number. Watching the ups and downs of that number is depressing, which doesn't help anything. Most of my weight issues come from the multiple diseases I'm dealing with, as I have always eaten healthy. So I just keep trying to do the right things and don't worry about the number.
-
I weigh myself every morning right after I get up. I keep track so I can see if I'm losing or gaining weight. Generally it fluctuates a little, but overall, I'm losing a few pounds.
-
Once a week while I try to shed these last few pounds from my pregnancy.
-
I refuse to own a scale so I only see how much I weigh if I have to go to the doctor. How my pants fit will tell me if there's a fluctuation large enough to concern me.
-
Hardly ever. I tend to stay about the same weight..around 125-130 (fluctuates between 5 and 10 lbs) and I can tell when I gain or lose by the way my clothes fit.
-
Very rarely, as long as my clothes are comfortable I know I am not getting too big.
-
several times per week.
-
whenever i get the chance really. i am always dissapionted though, i always gain
-
Hardly ever. The mirror tells me more than the scales.
-
i have to check mine every week. but that is because i am ill. and lose weight so quick. i am not able to eat everyday. just 2-3 times a week. and the rest are ensure drinks that is what keeps me alive.
-
Once every morning, and once every night.
-
once a week. i have a 10 lb gain limit. if i go over it its major dieting for me but i oddly lose weight during winter and gain it during the summer. but i always weigh myself on sunday so i can plan out the week.
-
every two weeks
-
it depends, when I am dieting like now, i know its bad but i check almost every morning
-
Only if I'm at the doctors. If I start seeing that I'm bigger than I was a few days ago, I'll excersize a bit to get it off. Scales are depressing, besides, theres plenty of "outspoken" people who will tell me if I gain weight.
-
For what? Okay, sorry the answer is maybe once a week. I avoid the daily thing as it can vary 3, 4, or even five pounds which can be nothing more than water. Since you didn't ask I also will tell you taking measurments such as waist, arms, and thighs can be informative. Body fat measurments also I like.
-
when the Dr. has me weigh in...
-
I weigh myself 32 times per day.
-
once a week ... drs orders ... i "NEED TO GAIN SOME WEIGHT OR I'LL DIE" ... apparently!
-
2 - 3 times a week
-
Once a week !
-
once a week and it's a terrible time! :(
-
every 5 hours
-
Almost every morning after showering.
-
Weekly. Using the scales too much is counter-productive. And for some, it's not all that accurate. I lost an inch in 10 days, but only about 2 pounds.
-
I weigh myself every Saturday morning.
-
i dont weigh myself at all and it has liberated me and i'm actually my ideal 'size' now, whatever about weight. i used to get so down about my weight, i'd diet for weeks and go down a dress size and find i had lost 5 lbs!. very disheartening. i find the best way is to put the item of clothing you want to fit you (loosely, not squeeze onto the bed upside down and force the zip ha ha) and hang it on the wardrobe door, and find an eating plan that allows you to lose weight and exercise so that you aim to lose say 3 or 4 lbs a week. you'll be very surprised how you soon forget about that scales. and when u fit into that hot dress you'll wonder why you ever bothered worrying about your weight.
-
Never. I don't care
-
About once a week.
-
Once a week.
-
Never..a scale can't tell you how much of your weight is fat, bone, fluid, muscle... i'm happy with the way I look and if i'm not i'll do somthing about it!
-
I don't need a scale I can see poundage in the mirror.
-
When i wear my sexy jeans. If they fit ~ (and they always do) ~ it's all cool :)
-
Every Saturday morning. It's my weekly routine ever since I lost weight to keep my blood sugar normal. And it works like a charm. Buy clothes that fit, not larger than necessary so that you won't "grow" into them.
-
weekly. i wish i could go less.
-
I've got a scale of my own so I do it any time
-
Every 3-4 months.
-
When I am dieting , everytime I use the bathroom. When I am not dieting, NEVER out of FEAR.
-
No more than once a week unless I'm dieting, then it's every day
-
No enough! I wish I had checked it more because I wouldn't weigh what I weigh.
-
Probably like 2-3 times every 4 months if that. It's pretty rare. If anything I gotta get my weight up than down.
-
not often, rarely. But I love looking at the mirror to check if I still look sexy. And if my clothes still fits
-
hi, i get my weight checked by my doctor every three monts.
-
once a week. that's how i organize how much i eat and jog for the week.
-
At least once a month I have it done.
-
Pretty often.
-
about once a month or if my jeans start feeling tight:)
-
4-5 times a day.
-
Before my scale broke, twice a day.
-
About once a month.
-
Every few months when I go to the doctor. I'm afraid to get a scale because I'm already trying to drop a few pounds. I don't wanna become obsessed.
-
Once I week. I have lost 35 pounds in past year. WooHoo. I too decide how much and what to eat based on how my jeans fit and what my weight is.
-
EVERY MORNING AND EVERY EVENING BUT I WISH I COULD MAKE MYSELF STOP BUT ITS A HABIT TO ME NOW
-
at least once a year.
-
Every day and it make me depressed
-
About once a week.
-
Only when I go to the doctor's
-
not really a set time.
-
I stoped using mine when it said 'to be continued...'
-
Almost every day. If you do this, and take immediate action if you weight a couple of pounds more than you did the last time you weighed yourself, you never gain weight.
-
Between 2-5 times a day. I know it's silly & probably unhealthy, but I can't help it. Even though I'm a healthy weight I don't want to gain anymore.
-
If you are monitoring it closely, then once a day in the morning, before eating or drinking anything, but after you have gone to the bathroom. That is what I do since I'm in the maintenance phase of a successful low-carb diet (now lifestyle). For me, it helps me know how to approach each new day - of course, if the scale is a bit lower, I may tend to overeat that day just because I feel like I have a little leeway - which isn't always good because the scale can then tilt up the other way the next morning! However, I think there is about a 5-day "lag" so sometimes it's hard to tell if yesterday's overeating did not penalize you, or whether it still will, just not till next week!!...Without a daily weigh-in, you lose track.
-
I've been struggling with my weight for couple years now. As of only being 17. I've gotten down to 90Lbs and still seem to check it atleast once a day.
-
once a day but really you should only check once a week and you have to do it when you have waken up and have gone to the bathroom
-
About once a day.
-
About 3-5 times a day, more than I probably should.
-
Never! I can just tell with the way my clothes fit if I'm gaining or losing! That's ALL the "proof" I need!
-
All the time now. I'm trying to gain weight, I like to check it at night so it appears that I have gained I know it's not acurate but it makes me feel better.
-
once a year.
-
I am trying to lose weight right now to get a bit more fit, so I think I'm checking every 2 weeks.
-
Rarely but the minute I read he quesion I went and weighed myself :)
-
I do not have easy access to a scale so it has been eight months since I last checked my weight. Last year I went on a major weight loss program and checked it once a week on a borrowed scale.
-
Once or twice a week- which is a big improvement from every day
-
too often at least three times a day
-
I stopped when I got to the point that the scale wouldn't register any more weight.
-
Rarely. Pretty much only when they do it at checkups&such at the doctors. There hasn't even been a scale in my house in like 10 or so years, not since it broke.
-
everyday or maybe even twice im very cautious of my weight i so wouldnt recommed weighing at all.
-
Weekly. It's part of my fitness routine.
-
I use to check everytime i use to eat or drink something.Even after going for a walk or exercising. If there was no weight loss i would feel depressed. This is when i decided to keep my machine away and now i check every monday morning to se if i am in the right weight frame and plan my weekly diet and exercise accordingly. http://www.skinsheen.com/articles-weight-loss-13.aspx
-
use to be 2 times a day but then my scales broke so now only once a week at my local swimming pool
-
Never. I judge my weight by whether I can still get into my clothes or not.
-
Every week
