That is not true. It is especially untrue if you have a large group of other parents and community members supporting your cause. If you feel strongly about wanting to change a school policy, you should talk to other parents and see what their view is on the topic. School administrators cannot ignore a large group of angry parents fighting for the same cause. Chances are you will get your way if enough people support you. Maybe if you tried to talk to the principal or administrator and discuss this with them they could help you understand the policy and why it is in place if you are having trouble understanding its purpose.
