If a question is deemed a duplicate but you dont think it was.. and it gets replaced.. do you think you should get some credit for your original question?

If you genuinely think yours is not a duplicate, you have to present your case to the site administrators using the Feedback function. They might reach you afterwards with a decision. I hear they are swamped with requests of that type so I would make sure I have a worthy case. And no, if one has a duplicate one shouldn't get any further credit, in my opinion.

I have had a few reinstated and no I don't think they should give you more credit than you already have but I do feel that it should start back up on the front page which may bring more answers. It may already do that and I just haven't noticed.
