When you see a factual question on AB to which you don't know the answer, do you go and find that answer and reply, or do you just wait until somebody else answers the question?

I believe the point of asking a question is to get an answer. Not everyone has equal searching skills on the internet and that may be why the question was asked in the first place. Anyway, if I can help this person by researching and giving them the answer, that's what I do.

I go and find that answer and reply. If I don't find the answer, I just give points to the question and then hope that someone else would be able to answer it.
