Lesbians and gays can have children by extracting their sperm and matching it with a womans egg. Does God approve of this? Give me a good reason besides a "BECAUSE" from the saints or a "EWWWW" from the Apostles of the Bible. Is there an actual reason?

As far as I know homosexuals may not have children because of the education they will get, they need to have moral values and the best example possible, and for that reason they shouldn't have children. After all God made natural ways to have children in the sacrament of marriage.

I'm not Christian, but I would like to take a crack at this. I believe the reasoning is that allowing gay folks to raise children will both create more gay folks and will promote the idea that being gay is somehow "okay" when in fact it is an abomination. I've also heard it will inadvertantly bring about the Apocalypse as well, but as the reasoning for this seems to be rather fuzzy and I don't completely understand it, I won't go into it. But the first two reasons apply in any case. To quote Reverend John Hagee "The Bible story of homosexuals demanding the guests of Lot for their sexual pleasure is the portrait of homosexuality out of the closet. In this story... the homosexuals came from every part of the city. They were as aggressive as a pack of wolves... Homosexuality means the death of society because homosexuals can recruit, but they cannot reproduce." I hope that clears things up for you. Sorry this response ran so long, but I do so love to quote Reverend Hagee. It never gets old!

I cannot and will not claim to know the mind of God. A few years and a bit of observation however, leads me to believe I do know the mind of man pretty well. As a result, the only answer I can give to the first part of the question is this - Whether God approves of anything depends entirely on which bit of writing one chooses to accept and which bit one chooses to deny. If I had to answer without any religous leanings, I'd say that our biological urges are different from our sexual ones. The desire to reproduce is among the strongest any species experiences. I think we are no different and whether we are sexually stimulated by men, women or both has little bearing on our primal urge to pass on our genetics. Life doesn't get any more basic than that.

I don't know the mind of Yahweh beyond what Scripture tells me and this particular subject isn't covered in the Bible, so for me to answer this question would be folly. If you honestly want an answer, perhaps you should ask God yourself instead of putting the burden of proof or the burden of an answer on to the Christians.

Why do they wish to have children? How would their child face the stigma of the world knowing that it is hard for society to accept these ideas? Already many children are facing the odds- from mix races, from single parent units to mentally challenged ones. These children do not find their lives easy and rosy..the world is cruel and hard why bring pain to these innocent one for the parent's own life decisions? If they suffer for their decisions what makes they think that their children will not suffer for it too? The world has so much complications why in the world add more??

I am waiting for the day they can combine the genetic material from two ova to create a zygote. Then, two women can have a little girl that they both helped to create.
