Yes, this is bad. Besides putting your body through the hardships of malnourishment, you have taken it to the extreme of starvation. You've reached a very dangerous state where you are no longer hungry and food repels you -- atrophy. Honey, you may need serious hospitalization. Individuals experiencing starvation lose substantial fat (a.k.a. adipose) and muscle mass as the body breaks down these tissues for energy. Catabolysis is the process (medical condition) of a body breaking down muscles and other tissues in order to keep vital systems—such as the nervous system and heart muscle (myocardium) —working. Catabolysis will not begin until there are no usable sources of energy coming into the body. Vitamin deficiency is also a common result of starvation, often resulting in anemia, beriberi, pellagra, and scurvy. These diseases collectively may cause diarrhea, skin rashes, edema, and heart failure. Individuals are often irritable and lethargic as a result. Atrophy (wasting away) of the stomach weakens the perception of hunger, since the perception is controlled by the percentage of the stomach that is empty. Victims of starvation are often too weak to sense thirst, and therefore become dehydrated. All movements become painful due to atrophy of the muscles, and due to dry, cracked skin caused by severe dehydration. With a weakened body, diseases are commonplace. Fungi, for example, often grows under the esophagus, making swallowing unbearably painful. The energy defiency inherent in starvation causes fatigue and renders the victim more apathetic over time. Interaction with one's surroundings diminishes as the starving person becomes too weak to move or even eat.

Your body cannot live off of toast alone. You should eat to live, even if that means trying to stomach foods with essential vitamins... its not like you need to go overboard and gorge on things, but see it as a duty to your body and your mind to eat least try to consume healthy foods so you can go on living. You may want to really consider talking about this with your doctor as your aversion to food is detrimental to your health!

How tall are you? How much do you weigh? You might be injuring your health. Lots of people have a problem of being hungry in the summer heat. It just turns them off food. However, you might have an eating disorder. Answering the above and considering the long term effect on your health, I suggest a visit with a Family Practice physician. He/she can assess the situation and refer you to appropriate help if needed or to some effective medication.

You know you need more than toast to be healthy. Why are you doing this to your self? Is it a form of control or do you have something that is making you ill?

Does this include drinking as well? Although it sounds like a very dangerous situation, if you can stomach drinks, then you should at least consider trying some form of nutritional drinks to try to provide some of the many vitamins and minerals that your body needs.

Please please see a doctor. Toast does not have the proper nutrition needed to sustain a healthy life. Also, you are NOT fat. In fact, you are very, very thin. At 5'6 and 8 stone, you weigh much less than is probably healthy for your height. It is not uncommon to have an inaccurate view of your body type. Whether you believe me or not, I can assure you that you weigh less than you should. But that aside, a doctor can instruct you on how to properly feed your body, and may even be able to direct you to a specialist who can help you figure out what you don't like about food. Wouldn't it be better if you could enjoy eating with your friends? Please visit a doctor NOW. Life is too good to miss out on such a big part of it.
