- Be gracious and respectful whenever you post anything; - Avoid getting into arguments. It's rare for anyone to change their mind because of an argument; - When someone says something good, tell them that you think its good, and tell them why. If somebody posts a long response, realize that it took them a long time to compose that, and it's nice to say exactly what you liked about it. - Try to be helpful: focus on what the other person really needs rather than on showing off how much you know or proving that you're right. - Spell things correctly and use your best grammar. When you take shortcuts like those in your question, it tells some people "I don't care enough about what I'm saying to make it readable and clear."
