No I haven't. I consider that to be a good thing since they do have some destructive force like a giant hail ball.

I saw one which lit the sky up like daylight for 10 seconds before crashing into the sea, bright white...like looking into a searchlight.....and I was in a meteor shower! All be it very small particles, that lit the sky in multi coloured tracers like ribbons....Oh and I saw Halle's Comet but it was a smudge

Someone has down rated points for my Question.I would like to know why please. What is wrong in my question, it looks plain and in simple English and it is relation to the experience I had when I was bogged down in the Rain Forest.I only wish to know had someone else had the same experience under this category.

Actually, yes I have on two (2) separate occasions! Both appearing in South Florida, the sightings were maybe 15 years apart. What I find amazing is that they were indentical! Both appeared as huge, literally "golden orbs of fire" with short tails shooting from east to west direction. The initial orb appeared over ocean and dissapeared behind cityscape and I can only guess into the ocean. The sky had a strange hue that day, I remember, slightly orange. The second appeared over land heading towards the Everglades, disappeared over the tree line. It was early evening, nothing strange remembered about the sky. I know that there were others that saw it too, because on the second occasion I saw the brake lights of the traffic ahead of me on I-95. Searched the news with no results. In addition to that, my daughter who was in the passenger seat, about ten yrs old was terrified! Keep in mind the last sighting was approximately 20 years ago...so online inquiry was not as option for me at the time. Not as it is today... Great question...haven't thought about the sightings for a very long time! Thanks for the memories!!!
