Yes, and I have connected with a few old friends from both high school and college.

I went on once just to have a look around- you have to sign in with an e-mail address to do that and they apparently set up a page for you. It was interesting and I actually found several people I remember from my high school class. But then Classmates kept sending me e-mails that people had visited the page and if I wanted to know who it was I had to pay them some monthly fee. So I severed my ties. Not that I begrudge them looking to make money. If you're really looking to re-connect with people, it could be a good option.
