No, not at all. I think it is a mature attitude. Rather than viewing your parents as only "mom" and "dad", you see them as actual people with real needs, and you are sensitive to those needs. Nothing crazy about being aware of how a situation is and wishing it was better.

Thats not crazy at all, obviously you love your mom and want her to be happy, and it's hard to watch someone you love suffer, especially at the hands of another loved one. I'm sorry you are in such a situation and wish you and your mom the best.
