  • On the upper right of the list of feedback there is a "button" you can push that says "mark all as read." It will turn off the "comments" light until you get new feedback.
  • If you have looked at each type of feedback one-at-a-time, (Answers only, Comments only, Ratings only), all five pages for each (that will be 100 of each), then if your "light" is still on, there can be two reasons: 1) You've missed it. It's gone past where you can see it. Best bet? Click the "Mark all as read" to clear them. There's nothing else you can do about it, except to randomly run across it on the bag. 2) Someone has clicked to answer one of your questions, or to comment on an answer or comment. I believe this is when AB turns the light on (not on the SUBMIT). They may be entering one, now, or they may have closed the page without canceling out of the answer/comment, so the light stays on. THEN, there's the 2-4 minute wait for it to appear on your FEEDBACK page. The reason for the delay? It appears that AB has a number of delays built into a number of places. They found that by increasing this wait time (to feedback) that it helped speed up the site. (It probably has to do with so many people going to or refreshing their feedback pages so often.)
