Hey we are a small family, 2+1, two weeks in Sardinia mid sept. Hear that the Alghero area is nice, we have no place to stay, looking for an apartment close to the sea and village? Any ideas? Note we are not fussy but enjoy a bit

Personally I prefer the east coast of Sardinia but there is a great bed and breakfast near Alghero that I know of called the Countryside. We have also stayed at the second place shown on the Best Sardinian Beach site http://www.my-italy-piedmont-marche-and-more.com... . This was really great, near Alghero and reasonable.
