  • I'm a Hindu too... But I don't fast. And I've no idea about the repercussions but I think you shouldn't fast just bcas your religion asks you too. Fasting as most other religious customs began for a reason. Your body and stomach need a rest day and so was born the concept of fasting. Also so as to conserve food.. Again do it if you want to not because religion asks you to :)
  • If it is a religious requirement then I fast otherwise I don't. Fasting has some great uses.So even if the religion does demand a fast, you may do so for these other reasons.There are no repercussions for not fasting. You are free to not fast at all.
