How do i make a new account on a macbook?

by account i am assuming you mean user account what os are you using if you are using leopard all you have to do is click on the apple icon in the top right corner and choose system preferences then click accounts make sure you are an administrator then there is a lock if the lock is closed click it then there is a plus sign and a minus sign choose the plus sign then fill out every thing and choose the account type and you are done
