We have a cat named Princess. We have a crayfish named Rock Lobster. We also have 13 fish, who all have no names. Three of them are goldfish in a 20 gallon tank in the house. The other 10 are Koi ranging in length from 18 to 30 inches that live in a pond in the backyard. Although the Koi have no names, two of them are always referred to as Big White Fish and Big Blue Fish by Zachary & Abbey. I regret to inform you all of the passing of Rock Lobster. He had a great two-year run with us. My wife found him crossing the road one day while she was out running in our neighborhood. She brought him home in an old coffee cup, and we set up a 20 gallon fish tank for him. We added half a dozen feeder goldfish, a guppy and two fingerling Koi. Within two months, he had captured and eaten three of the goldfish, one of the Koi, and the guppy. He passed on peacefully in his sleep about a week ago. Expressions of sympathy are appreciated, and donations may be made in Rock Lobster's name to the Society for the Prevention of Cooking Crayfish(SPCC).

I have 1 dog. He is a Border Collie, Australian Shepard mix. His name is "Bucket". He had an injury before I got him that required surgery and the good ole "bucket" style collar from the vet. The people who had him at the time gave him the name, and it stuck. Since he was already answering to it when I got him, I continued to call him that. It just seems to fit him.

4 cats...Smokey, a Himalayan whose personality reminds me George McFly (I'm just no good at confrontations); Paige, a long haired mutt with no "inside voice; Booboo, who I believe is bi-polar; and Kyra, who considers and carries herself as a princess. 1 parakeet, Damian..for obvious reasons. 1 rabbit, Chester. I love them all like children.

I have a cat named Bailey. I adopted her from a family who was giving away kittens outside the Target store. It was a spur-of-the-moment kinda thing. She climbed up my shoulder and wouldn't let go. She kept mewing and mewing...she was completely frightened by all the cars driving by. I took her home. She is the best cat ever. The first picture is of her in my old kitchen. The other one is kind of dark, because I took it with my cell phone, but its a picture of her pretending she was innocent after she dumped the basket full of clean clothes off of the bed and onto the floor - you can see them sitting around her as she stares at me saying "Who, me?" We used to have a cat named Maxwell, but unfortunately he developed some kind of digestive problem that kept making him vomit anywhere from 5-10 times each night, and a few more times during the day... sadly, we had to put him down after the vet couldn't find the problem, and a few different medications didn't help. He was a big guy - somewhere around 19-20 lbs. He's in the last picture.

I have a cool black cat with green eyes, and one to whom always is keeping it mellow. I happened upon him one early morning when arriving home after getting off work, and I heard this this repeated Mew...Mew...Mew, but couldn’t make out where it was originating. After a few moments, I looked down by the front tire of my Taurus, and this tiny little head was poking around it. I said, "So, I supposed NOW you want someplace to live, HUH!? Lord, he was so tiny, and no doubt one of the kittens from the numerous alley cats in our complex, who seemed to be poppin-out litters daily. Anyway, I started walking away, looking over my shoulder, and with crooked steps, he stayed about 6 paces behind me. I stopped for a moment, and he too stopped, there at 6 paces, and then satdown sort of looking away, as if he had not a care in the world. I began walking again, and arrived to my front door, and I unlocked it I threw open the door, and said ok bucko, time to poop or get off the pot, as I stood there looking down at him,as he sat there looking up at me. I said, Ok you, look! I can't stand here letting in the cold, so I'll tell ya what, I'll step inside and count to 15,and if your not inside by then, I guess we'll see ya next time, M'kay? So I went in, and did my counting, and on about 9 I think it was, for 9 lives, there he was sniffing and looking around. Except by accident, he has never been outside again. I fed him kitty milk from the vet, as he was not fully weaned, but he was a good looking boy. I thought of the name BAGHEERA after that Black Panther of Rudyard Kiplings "Jungle Book Series" But I call him Boogie for short, and most of the time. He's now about 3 years old, and he travels with me in my motorhome, and was a true godsend unto me that morning, and I do love him to death.
