  • Yes, all of the time. Trying to do better. : )
  • Unfortunately, yes. The more valid approach is to separate life into needs and wants. If you need something, need it to survive or function in your work or otherwise in your life, then not only get it but get the best you can. If you merely "want" something, then limit yourself to paying cash (never on credit) and postpone obtaining it until you have the spare cash. Go through your garage/closet/drawers. Look at what you haven't used in 6 months. Ask if this is a necessity or a luxury. If a luxury, discard it now.
  • I don't desire a whole lot. Maybe a few personal things but, that is about it.
  • Of course I do.
  • All the time. I desire a trip to Hawaii, every single day. Don't 'need" one, but i want it soooo bad..The economy is keeping me away from my desire:( I desire a new car, think of it a lot, I desire everyday not to be disabled, I didn't used to be, so I desire everyday to be back in time, with my life.
  • Hell yeah, stuff that just make you smile or make you look & feel great. i don't need it but it makes me happy.
  • Of course, who doesn't?
  • Nah - I threw that yoke off years ago! On my way to where money has no significance whatsoever. A quest, as it were. An ambition.
  • yes and I see absolutely nothing wrong in it. There's nothing wrong in wanting something just because you want it. As long as you do not allow yourself to become obsessed with having to have things all of the time and miserable when you cannot, then it's absolutely OK.
  • Of course. I'm only human.
  • Often, but I'm blessed with a short attention span so I only want the item(s) for 24hrs...after that I forget they exsist. Unless it is a TRULY desired object then I write it on my wish list for when I have extra cash.
  • but i really need the redhead from the circle-k!!!!
