I just fininshed "Fearless Fourteen" by Janet Evanovich. How many ABers readed her books? Is it her humor and characters what makes them good or is it the suspense?

It's the humour and the relateable flaws in her characters. We're all the "normal" but sometimes jinxed girl with the bad hair day and the tight jeans. We've all had crazy/uptight/funny/worried/inappropriate family and friends. Janet exagerates the recognizable and familiar which makes us invest in her world. The fact that there's honest mystery/suspence/romance happening on the pages is why we keep coming back.
