I do worry about that. I'm not in the sun much now, but I got burned a lot as a child -- several times each summer, complete with blistering, peeling, etc. So, I am a little concerned.
-
No probably not. I do not tan that much at all. Everyone thinks i'm 18 when I'm actually 26.

It is the UV B rays that concern me. They damage your skin underneath, where it is not visible, and are responsible for the liver spots you see as you get older. The first time I got a bad burn, my dad told me I was going to get skin cancer. It may have been to scare me, but I've tried to stay out of the sun, where better, modest clothing, and I have amazing skin nowadays, and hopefully will continue to into my 80's, 90's, etc. (That is still fifty plus years away.)

I doubt it for myself as I took care of my skin and I'm fairly naturally dark as it is. But my husband has a history of it in his family and I worry about the top of his head on his bald spot as it's starting to change, just like his father's did. He usually wears a hat but often he's found without one.

No. I am covered whenever I'm in the sun.

dark when I leave for work, dark when I go home...I should be ok.
-
Been there, done that.

I wouldn't be surprised. I didn't wear sunblock when I was a youth who spent much time outdoors.
-
I don't know, but I doubt it. I try to avoid direct sunlight most of the time, though I don't wear sunblock (I believe you shouldn't put anything on your skin you wouldn't eat).

there is every posssibility that one could get skin cancer when you're younger. I had one removed when I was in my 20's. Definately when you're older. See a dermitologist every 6 months. They don't all require surgery, there are creams that will correct sun damage.
