• Aye, there were, and no there wasn't - spirits, that is! Beer only on those trips, Cap'n, until we landed. Then we broke out the rum, like any a good sailor would... aye ;p
  Tell ye though, 'twas a thing of beauty, that green flash - I'd heard of it and I thought it were only a legend, not to be believed, until I had to when I saw it with me own two eyes.

• Nary a thing ails me today, kind sir. I hope my friendship finds you and yours in good spirits!
  
  The gas ball was gone in a flash. It looked just like a ball while rolling. It was definitely in motion and moving from my left to my right. It glowed, which is what got my attention. It only lasted about 5-6 seconds. I was about 8 when I saw it and it took me YEARS to find out what it was. Nature can offer up some strange occurences! What is the light you are refering to??

• Well while I've seen nearly me own share of the weird and odd, such as ball lightening and other strange phenomenon, what I was referring was merely a fiction from the movie Pirates Of The Caribbean At World's End.
  the rarely seen brief flash at sunset that is said to signal when sea-faring types pass on to the world beyond this one, savvy?

• I too have witnessed ball lightening though I do agree it is quite rare, there is NO denying it's existence once you've seen it.
  Now St' Elmo's Fire I'm not familiar with, aside from the brat-pack movie of the 80's. Are they all on milk cartons now?
  Do enlighten me about the real deal if you would?

• Indeed I did, and it was quite interesting what I got from a fewe of the sources including Wiki, but you know the movie and the John Par theme song from said movie were of course far easier to get info from a Yahoo and a Google search than the much more interesting plasma phenomenon. IMHO

• Me and My crew found us some ropes and tied us down to some anchors, dropped em in and went down. When we got under water, we cut loose upside down. Odd, i know. Im Vexed on how we got there in the first place, seeing how I fly me airship. Perhaps it isnt fer just the ships of the sea? Im truly vexed.
