What do you think about all these reports of the rich getting richer, the poor poorer, and the middle class disappearing?

That doesn't make sense. Why do the rich get to have more money than the rest of us. Maybe they will start giving it to others once we are all living on the streets and they have to look at us everyday.

yes it is true, it takes money to make money. That is hard to grasp. I don't know that the middle class is disappearing though. I still see plenty of them around here.

It's scary. It gives more space for political extremists on both sides. Political extremists who want to abolish democracy. It has happened before, and can happen again.

There's something to all that, but that sort of thing has happened time and again throughout history. It has a certain historic inevitability about it.
