  • Sure--but in most states your agent will get their share of the fee, assuming you signed some sort of agreement, even if they didn't find the house for you.
  • You could probably call all the listings agents, but wouldn't it be a better idea to get a new agent? This way you have your own representation and someone who isn't causing you to miss opportunities?
  • It is best to cancel the agreement with the current agent. Then find another dependable agent.
  • You do have the right to "fire" your agent. You must terminate the relationship formally, in writing, to avoid having the agent show up at a future closing looking to be paid. Good luck.
