  • Companies are compelled to have an employee hand book with all types of rules and policies. They must follow these which include treating employees equally within their own class. You question sugests that this rule book not be followed. It would result in huge amounts of lawsuits by those who did not agree on the final outcomes.
  • Depending on the size of the company, sometimes it's done. My own B-I-L has taken 30% pay cuts just so the business can stay afloat. BUT, if it's a major national company, you don't get a vote.
