  • That's a very insensitive question. We all know they don't have the right "equipment"!
  • No, I don't think so. The purpose of the Barbie dolls is be inspirations for millions of girls. Barbie was every single profession you can think of and the purpose of Ken is to provide a relationship for her. And it lasted for over 40 years. The only miniature toys that resembles Ken is Tommy, Ken's younger brother.
  • Yes. I believe they were conceived in Barbie's plastic Dream Shower.
  • Actually I thought the answer was no... other than her 40 something pets (including a Zebra) and a baby sister named Skipper that she practically raises. Her best friend Midge had at least 2 kids... http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/retail/2002-12-24-pregnant-doll_x.htm But as far as I could see Barbie and Ken never got married (despite the wedding dresses) had a kid. But then I found this: http://www.internationaladoptionnews.com/archives/article_white_swan_barbie.html Apparently "Coming Home" and/or "Going Home" Barbie is licensed by Mattel. To get one you must "you must: a) adopt a child from China, and b) stay at the White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou while awaiting clearance for an exit visa, for your baby, from the U.S. government. There is no other way to come into possession of the 'Going Home Barbie'." Included is a Barbie doll holding an "androgynous Chinese baby" and based on the context I think it's fair to assume she's adopted the baby and "coming" home. Don't ask me how I came upon this... but since i did I wanted to share. The answer is yeah. Barbie is a mom.I don't think Ken is a dad as they are not married. And it appears the baby was adopted.
