When an anti-virus program can identify a virus, but can't remove it, luckily half the work is done for you. You need to search for a removal tool on the web to remove the virus. Most viruses are smart enough not to let you remove them manually - that's why you didn't succeed.

Don't pay any attention to the advice of switching anti-virus programs or else be forced to wipe your drive. You shouldn't switch anti-virus just because it cannot remove one virus. Because if you did, you'd be switching a lot.

More importantly, you should be asking yourself - how did I get this virus and what do I need to do to prevent something like this from happening again?
