Have you thought about how often you generalize about a group of people in your answers when in reality it is a small portion of that group who actually act that way?

Yes I do. I call the questioners on it when they generalize about men, women, etc. (ie: Why are men such pigs? and Why are women such bitches?) The first thing I put in the answer is usually "First of all, not ALL men/women/whatever ARE that way... Some..." and explain differences. THEN I may or may answer in my next paragraph, unless I managed in my first.

I refuse to generalize because people who do are all the same. (hehe)

I think about that most of the time, which is why, when I make generalizations, I usually make an effort to frame them as such rather than presenting them as fact. Which, in turn, is why so many of my answers tend to be wordy and bloated.
