Question

Help answer this question below.

I have to breathe in constantly when I close a door, a lid, or anything! I worry that I'm trapping spirits and that people might die because of me if I don't do it. My obsessive behavior is ruining my life - is there any way to stop it?

I think that falls under the category of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and as Stableboy said, please get some therapy and there are medications to stop your head from constantly spinning out of control..Be well.

You should definitely be seeking professional help for this. Answerbagger's are mostly nice and good people, with much good advice. But you're not going to solve that one here, friend.

A good therapist, and possibly medication, are in your future before this improves significantly.

it is obsessive compulsive disorder, there is a way to syop it cognitive behavioral therapy. I had to do it to overcome my fear of chickens, first you have to expose yourself to your fear in your case closing the door without breathing in, dont overwhelm yourself or push yourself to hard, call a therapist and if you just need to talk my emails desolatekidd@gmail.com
