Is this wrong I volunteer and work with multihandicapped and special needs childern and when theres a new volunteer that tries to work with the kids I get jealous im I wrong

No, for you have developed a certain connection with those kids, and you don't want to share them with anyone else, especially if they are new or your potential rival. Just keep the focus on them, and realize that you and the newb want the best for the kids.

Those kids have so much love to give that sharing that with a thousand volunteers wouldn't diminish the amount of love they have for you. It's like anyone else, however much you love someone doesn't mean you have less to love someone else. Love is immeasureable.
