Okay so a christain man says to me today out of the blue that I have eyes that disern spirits...can anyone tell me what that means ? I guess I'm looking for a religious point of view

I think he is a nut job, personally, and I am a Christian. Normal people don't talk like that, though he could mean that you have a good eye for identifying personalities or something like that. I hope he wasn't talking about evil spirits and exorcisms . . .

<shrugs> I think he: A) Doesn't know what he's talking about and/or B) Is trying to a different way to chat you up and/or C) Had nothing better to say and/or D) Is a fruitloop and/or E) couldn't possibly know anything about your eyes. Take your pick.

I'm no genius...far from it. However, he actually gave you a compliment. To have eyes that discern spirits means that you read people....or spirits very well. You notice and have the ability to understand and to distinguish good and bad. I bet you've always been a good "read" on people. (You meet them once, and can tell right away if you like them or not.) I may be completely wrong from a christian stand point, but this is how I believe he meant it. God Bless.
