  • my husbands grandmother. A very sweet person, but after her husband of 49 years died she just didn't want to live anymore and then she had a stroke and was in a nursing home for the last 8 years after her life. She never recovered from the stroke and was in a lot of pain. It was very hard on her son (my father in law) to see her in so much pain and there wasn't anything that could be done.

  • Yes. There were a few people who tried to make it thier life's goal to make my life miserable. One died of a heart attack, the other in a car crash. It is worth saying that I have struggled for years with not holding a grudge. The best I have managed so far is to upgrade my answer and say that htere are a few people who I wouldn't miss at all. matter of fact, I could care less whether they ever draw another breath. Good riddance.

  • When heinous criminals are allowed to sit on death row for decades and finally get their due punishment... I feel that justice has been done. As Martha Stewart would say, "It's a good thing".
