How do you defeat the Hydra in the Hercules World? I'm confused. I keep jumping on its back but nothing happens.

just dont attack until it puts its head down then attack or if it picks you up use ur reaction attacks

when Phil tells you to get on the moster's back, it triggers a reaction command. If you time it right, it does damage and you cut off it's heads one by one (remember your Greek mythology?). His heads grow back, and several other reaction commands are triggered. Pegasus Run comes up several times to weaken him further, the final blow is Vanquiss for one last time to end the battle.
