  • I soak my jewelry in soda water. Sometimes I will wipe out the under area of rings with a q tip after they have soaked. I would not use any chemicals around amber.
  • I use white vinegar, let them soak over night, give it a rinse and its good to go.
  • Because silver turns color ( becomes dark) due to exposure to air keeping them in a felt pouch ( you can get them at a craft store inexpensively) or between two pieces of cotton stuffing from a gift box. Cleaning it can be done with out any licquids by using what is called a selvet cloth.( jewelry cloth) You can buy them in places from K-mart to Bed Bath and Beyond. they last a long time and you will keep your amber safe. When the cloth gets dirty from cleaning your silver it can be washed in the washer. Amber and Silver is a lovely combo. Enjoy it for years
