I've noticed most white couples adopt children of any race but I haven't seen to many other couples of a different race adopt white kids or is it just my area?

i have no idea how adoption works in the U.S here you can only chose the gender and age of the kid you want to adopt not their ethnicity, its like you say you want a baby boy between 2 to 6 months old and they look through the orphanages and let you know, they only give the baby to you after you pass several economic and psychological tests.

Perhaps the explanation is that throughout the world there are more children of color that are in need of adoption. Or, maybe they want to show off their charity, and while a white couple adoptin a white child might not be obvious, if they adopt a colored child, it like... "Oh, look, aren't they charitable."
