    the gmat is for business school, and the gre is for most other grad programs. the tests are in the same Computer adaptive format, and the math is similar, but the biggest differences are in the verbal sections. here is a resource that explains which test you should take, http://www.ehow.com/how_4614757_choose-between-gre-gmat.html and here is one if you need some extra math help on the GMAT, http://gmatgremath.blogspot.com good luck studying.
