God causes or allows pain, death, sorrow, hatred. He kicks is children out of paradise for doing only what he, being all knowing and all powerful, knew they must. Not only that but he punishes their descendants, who are innocent after all, for eternity. He creates tests by which he guages our faith and love in him. - In short he acts like the most addicted, insecure parent ever. To paraphrase Mark Twain, if any human father treated his children the same way, he'd immediately be lynched. - And we call this love? Why?

how can u b this stupid, the fact that u r able to write this now is because of His love, one good example of why he is love its becos He gave His only Son to die for ur sins, that is why now u r still alive, imagine this if it wasnt for Jesus once u sin u were going to b killed or die, just think whether u would b stil alive by now, how many sins have u commited and God has forgiven u,it is by the grace of God that u r stil alive, dont curse yourself by asking this kind of stupid questions, i forgive u but what i can ask u to do is to speak to God and ask for forgiveness even though u havent done it before.my the good God forgive u for not beliving in Him.

We are not all God's children. Whoever put forth that heresay should be ashamed. God will honor those whom he will honor and zap those he wills to zap. We are the clay and he is the Potter. He will make out of some vessels for noble use and others for the trash heapl None of us could stand in his presence. God's love is shown in the fact that some of us will be saved through acceptance of what Messiah did on the cross. Certainly not everyone will be. Not becuase it is not offered but because the offer is refused.

I have tried to send this comment three times. God is not evil. When man betrayed God he gave up the right to be in God's presence. It would take a perfect man and no man could meet the challenge. God sent His perfect Son to live, suffer and die for the betrayal of man. Death was necessary to get Messiah into the place of the dead where he could rescue those who had believed in His future coming. Then he was resurrected to the right hand of God and through His blood we can regain fellowship with God. If you don't want it keep on rejecting it but every knee will bow and ever tongue will confess Jesus is Lord.

Because the Bible reveals the nature of God and He is totally good, full of love and mercy. He is incapable of an evil thought, all His thoughts toward you are holy. He is perfectly righteous, incapable of revenge, He is so perfect that His judgement is always just even if we don't see it that way. He is grieved when people have trouble and He does not wish that anyone should perish. He loves everything in creation and you are His masterpiece! He cannot lie and He never changes. Once a person's sins are forgiven through Jesus Christ, the slate is wiped clean the sin forgotten never to be recalled by Him at all. This is a kind of love humans cannot even fathom.

People say that because it's in the Bible. We can't be certain of what the Biblical writer meant. It's a difficult statement to make sense of... God is God, Love is Love... God is loving... but God is Love? I don't understand it.
