    I didn't whatsoever in any way, shape, form or fashion know that I was eating that many bugs. There are questions to ask. Maybe you would like to discuss this.

    You need to put warnings on potentially traumatizing information like that. I'm now considering killing myself :D

    I suppose if i were a toad or frog, that wouldn't bother me. Once in a while i go to FDA recall site and i notice that most of that insect filth comes from Canada and is in canned vegetables.

    It doesn't bode well for the vegetarians, I don't think. What do you think? Would they be more upset than meat eaters?

    I believe it. And I think I already had more than my 3 lbs since I lived in a 3rd world country for awhile. Insects and bugs are a part of diet of some culture and I hope they are the ones bringing up the average.

    That's nothing, I saw a program where they take old animal bones and remove all the minerals until only a gelatin is left and they use that gelatin in many processed foods like ice cream and sauces! I like meat but who wants to eat old bones that have gone through hydrocloric acid then place it in your dinner?

    Yes, I believe it. I've heard, that during your lifetime, you will eat seven to eight spiders while you are sleeping. I don't remember if it was the Discovery Channel, as Go_Know said.

    1 500 grams divided by, say, 40 years = 37.5 grams a year;
    or about 100 milligrams a day.

    Sounds reasonable if one assumes it's in the processed and cooked foods.

    Perhaps vegans might even be eating more meat--such as in their vitamin gel caps.
