Help answer this question below.

I am 18 , missed 4 years of school and got G grades in my GCSEs. I am wanting to do GCSEs at college ... but they only cover work from the last two years in high school and I missed work from before then...so how would I possibly understand them? HELP!!!!

    I'm assuming you are in the UK. The years before GCSEs are based on a system called Key Stages.

    Key Stages 1 and 2 are primary school with Key stages 3 and 4 being at high school pre-GCSEs. There are lots of simple workbooks available to buy that you can work through yourself at home and also speak to your old school - they can advise you.

    You do speak English, so you can ask somebody. If a subject comes up that sounds like it needs "background information" like you would have received from those 2 missed years -- you should be able to find answers on the internet. You could also consider hiring a tutor to work with you once or twice a week to go through the stuff you're having trouble with. The college may even provide tutoring services.
